Control4 Smart Home Build

Building or updating your dream home should be exciting and fulfilling.

Ensuring you have the correct people and design is crucial to achieving that goal.

Great Advice

Our advice to you?  Just ask.  Not sure what you need, or where to start, when designing you smart home?  That’s just fine.  You may know what you want – but don’t know how to wire for it, that’s no problem either.  In ANY case, all you need to know is, who to turn to when you want professional help.  Let it be us.  Drop by, or call for your home visit appointment and we will spend the time with you to ensure you know your options.  We can sit down with you, go over your home design thoughts to give you a comprehensive idea of what can be done, what to ensure is done, and point out what hurdles to avoid.  We are here to ensure your smart renovation or automated new home turns out better than you imagined.  All you have to do is ask.

Our Role

Our smart home consultants work with you, your architect, interior designer, the general contractor and sub trades.  We provide you with the right smart home design to fit your needs and advice on implementation requirements for all stages of your project.  From initial structured wiring (ResiNet™) locating on your plans at the architectural design stage, through to coordination with the sub system trades to ensure they are providing the best fit product for your smart home vision, to final sign off we are always there for you.  Retrofitting new technology into your present home is something we do very well, and we are happy to come out for a home visit to assess what’s best for you.

Strong Relationships

Coordinating a Smart Home update or build can have many moving parts.  Since a Home Automation system often touches on a variety of your home’s sub systems, we know how important it is to have a coordinated working relationship with sub-trades and contractors.  When you decide to retain us to work for you, you will find we not only understand maintaining schedules and coordinating  with those other trades to avoid disruption and delay for the project, but we always keep an eye out for conflicts and potential issues along the way too.  From keeping work areas neat and free of safety hazards, to observing and advising on every stage of the process, we ensure your desires are the most important consideration by every trade that home automation affects during your build process.

Experienced Staff

Our Custom Home consultants have done this for decades.  We are highly competent, enjoy the work, and love working with the latest integration electronics.  We get real  job satisfaction by bringing lasting enjoyment into the lives of our customers – and that’s you.  We have personnel who are CEDIA*, THX, ISF, and everyone here is Control4 trained in automation systems design and programming (among others).  That means we can select and install the right hardware, best suited for your project to allow your homes various sub-systems to work seamlessly together, enabling all the automated elements of your home to work reliably and simply for years to come.  After all, that’s the whole point of building your modern smart home.
